Diamonds (powered by Gaminar.net), is an extremely engaging and fast-paced team strategy game, which places focus on important team processes like: selecting and prioritizing important information, making decisions based on insufficient data, communicating and creating test scenarios in order to validate hypotheses.

Teams must choose their actions carefully, in order to maximize their gain while searching a 15 by 15 tile area for… diamonds!

Game Context

  • Participants work in teams to find hidden mines from the slots of a 15x15 grid
  • The game takes place over 3 rounds, generating opportunities for teams to refine or adjust their strategies and become better and more efficient as rounds go by
  • Participants will be provided with some free information and have access to additional information, at a cost
  • Each team starts with a budget of 15,000. As they progress in the game, they can either increase their budget or spend it all
  • The team with the biggest amount of money, at the end of the 3rd round, wins!

Engage your team in this fast-paced activity which really puts active communication to the test!

In Pixtory (powered by Gaminar.net), each participant receives a photo, which is a zoomed-in version of someone else’s photo. In the least amount of time possible, teams must describe their photos and place them in the right order, from the most zoomed-in to the most zoomed-out photo.

Efficient communication and paying close attention to details is key to the team’s result, as each wrong attempt will charge the team with one extra minute. Placing all photos in the right order and in the fastest time makes a winning team!

The photos are so complex that it’s really easy to miss relevant details!

It’s paramount to really pay attention to other players, as the smallest detail may change the order in which to place all photos! Everybody needs to be fully present and explain everything clearly.

The hard part is to identify the balance between being brief and being complete... a challenge we also face in our daily lives!
